Mandatory boys lacrosse equipment:

NOCSAE-approved helmet (no hockey helmets) Color must be white
Lacrosse shoulder pads, arm pads, and gloves
Protective cup
Mouth guard (must be a highly visible color and is mandatory.)
Cleats
Lacrosse stick - The crosse shall be an overall fixed length of either 40 or 42 inches (short crosse) or 52 to 72 inches (long crosse), except for the goalkeeper's crosse, which may be 40 to 72 inches long.
Rib pads are strongly recommended for attack and midfield

Mandatory girls lacrosse equipment:

Mouthguards are mandatory at all levels.
Eye protection
Close fitting gloves and soft headgear are permitted.
In lieu of goggles, “hybrid” approved girls/women’s lacrosse helmets allowed and recommended. Hockey helmets or other hard sided helmets are not allowed.
Cleats
Goalie must wear helmet with face mask, separate throat protector, chest protector, abdominal and pelvic protection, goalie gloves, and leg padding on the shins and thighs. The protective helmet, designed for lacrosse, must be NOCSAE approved.
Girls lacrosse stick - The crosse must be an overall length of 35 1/2" minimum to 43 1/4" maximum
