Board of Directors
President: Brian Samborski
Manage SYL relationship with the town. Maintain relationships with the Rec Dept and High School AD. Secure field permits and manage field maintenance, port-a potty rentals, etc. Provide guidance and support to boys and girls directors as needed. Schedule, develop agendas for, and run regular board meetings. Establish vision and plans for program growth.
Boys Director: Jason Frasca
Maintain SYL’s relationship with the league. Attend all league meetings and advocate in the best interest of SYL. Make every effort to grow SYL sustainably by creating experiences that challenge and motivate all levels of player. Oversee programming decisions and roster development/drafts. Respectfully address any parent/player concerns or feedback. Organize select program as there is interest at each age grouping. Maintain relationship with high school coaching staff and other area directors.
Girls Director: Ashley Fiedler

Coaching Coordinator: Brian Samborski
CORI checks, league certifications, maintain a catalog of drills and practice plans, seek out trainings tailored to the needs of current volunteers and board members. Work with coaches to develop practice scheduling for the season (boys and girls).
Uniforms & Apparel: Andrew Dawson
Own the vendor relationships for both uniforms and spirit wear. Negotiate best pricing and service for SYL participants and organization. Determine best practices for time lines, ordering system, and distribution. Ensure uniforms are available prior to the first game and that spirit wear is available to purchase for holiday gifting.
Fundraising: Janelle Firricano
Work closely with treasurer to establish fundraising goals. Organize and execute fundraising events throughout the year generally with one major fundraiser in April.
Webmaster: Michael Lord
Open registration and manage user issues. Work with the board to edit and improve website as needed.
Treasurer: Brian Samborski
Create and track budget, Pay Refs, Write checks for equipment, aid in development of fee structure. Align budget with board developed growth objectives.
Marketing and Special Events: TBD
Develop flyers for annual registration and special events, contacts PTOs, libray,etc to ensure flyers are distributed to students and patrons at all Stoneham public and private schools. Work with contacts at local colleges to schedule youth days, End of Year SYL pizza party or other celebration, Cannons games, etc. Coordinates Town day booth. Works closely with fundraising chair.
Equipment Coordinator: TBD
Keep track of all SYL owned equipment and location. Work with Girls and Boys directors to establish a list of mandatory items/ team bag. Identify any needs well in advance of the season and submit to President and Treasurer for ordering. Coordinate distribution of team bags and buckets to each coach.
